Can you use EZkeys MIDI without EZkeys?

Yes. The MIDI files are packaged in a special file format, making them only available through the EZkeys Song Browser. You can however use them as any ordinary MIDI file within your host browser or in EZkeys stand alone.

There is currently no MIDI editor in EZkeys. Dragging into your DAW is the only way to edit. You can then record your edits back into EZKeys is you want using the Record function in EZkeys.

Where are Toontrack MIDI files?

The SDX Sound libraries are installed by Default to ‘{Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/Superior Drummer 2.0’. The ‘EZHOME’ folder (for Toontrack MIDI and EZX:s) is located at ‘{Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/EZdrummer’.

How do you add MIDI grooves to Superior Drummer?

There are two ways to install a MIDI pack into Toontrack’s Superior Drummer 3, each with its own update method….Updating your Superior 3 Database

  1. Go to Settings > Advanced and click ‘Restore MIDI Database’ (takes about 30 seconds)
  2. Select the ‘Grooves’ tab.
  3. Select the product folder and click ‘Add to Database’

Where is Ezkeys MIDI folder?

They’re in Hard Drive/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer, on my system. If it’s not already there, Create a My Midifiles folder. Move your files and the EZDrummer browser should see your Folder and Files (after restarting EZDrummer).
