Is it safe to delete Library Containers on Mac?
Typically you will only want to delete them for trouble shooting, if one of these files got corrupted and is creating problems. I recommend not to delete anything inside your Library folder! Deleting folder will lead to applications not working (properly) anymore. These folders can indeed become very large.
What are Mac Library Containers?
The ~/Library/Containers folder contains files saved by sandboxed apps – i.e. typically apps downloaded from the Mac App Store. These apps are not able to write to files anywhere they like on your system, but are constrained to save inside their own folder in the Containers folder.
