Should you put grease on axle?
Applying grease to the actual axles itself is less important, as your wheels rotate on the bearings. However, greasing the axles allows you to more easily slide the axles in and out of the Mountain Bike Frame.
What grease to use for RC differential?
RC is a lifestyle choice You can use an automotive NLGI 2 grease, preferably synthetic marine grade. And yes a very clean diff case is needed. Even a few grains of sand can wreak havoc. Put a smear of grease around the diff case where it meets the chassis.
Is White Lithium Grease good for axles?
I would apply a light coating of white lithium grease. It is thin enough that it it won’t be wiped off the shaft sliding through the bearings. It also is resistant to getting washed off by rain or routine washing. The light coating of grease should keep the shaft from seizing in the bearings.
What type of grease is Tamiya Grease?
#1 Tamiya Grease (Plastic tube). General purpose grease, if you only get one tube in a kit it will be this, intended for everything including bearings, gears, MSCs, basic dampers etc but doesn’t do any of these jobs particularly well IMO as way too viscous.
Can I use grease in my differential?
